The Australian Centre for
Lived Experience

TACFLE values Mad informed and affirming practice grounded in lived experience leadership through supervision, consultancy, education and training, and research

Our Approach

We are a global Mad pride think tank and lived experience driven social innovation and impact organisation. At TACFLE, we use the term Mad as a reclamation, by those of us with lived experience, that is non diagnostic and celebrates our experiences and diversity rather than as a problem, deficit and illness.

Our Services

  • Lived Experience Supervision

Our Lived Experience Supervision service facilitates a supportive environment for individuals who have lived through similar experiences to share insights, solve problems collectively, and improve their practice.

  • Consultancy

Our Consultancy service provides expert advice to individuals and organisations seeking to improve their practices around lived experience and peer support. Whether it's developing effective support programs, implementing best practices, or conducting assessments, our consultants bring in-depth knowledge and strategic insights.

  • Advocacy/Recovery Coaching

Advocacy/Recovery Coaching equips individuals and groups with the necessary skills to effectively advocate for their rights or the rights of others. We offer guidance on how to navigate complex systems, articulate needs effectively, and bring about positive change.

We are calling you

We call to action all Mad pride lived experience leaders to lead global systems change from a Mad informed approach through TACFLE's support in providing internationally trained Mad experience, mentorship, education and consultancy.

We understand you

TACFLE understands that as peers we need support that respects our dignity, human rights and intersectional experiences from a social justice perspective. No issue is too great or too small.
