National Mental Health Advocate 2020 - Mental Health Foundation Australia
I feel super humbled and privileged to have accepted the National Mental Health Advocate Award 2020 on World Mental Health Day introduced by Minister Alan Tudge MP. As a person with lived experience and service use in mental health I thought it was essential in accepting my award to call out mental health as a social justice issue. The acceptance speech attends to many of the advocacy issues I address in my work. See Award

Mental Health Foundation of Australia - Finance Professionals Mental Health Symposium
In line with the National Mental Health Month's theme this year on 'Mental Health: Post Pandemic Recovery Challenges and Resilience', the Mental Health Foundation Australia has planned this symposium with an aim to further explore the connection between finance and mental health in the community and the mental health of financial professionals through constructive and open discussion. The MHFA has planned this symposium to bring together finance professionals, Federal, State and Local Government officials, industry associations and mental health organisations to discuss the mental health needs of Australia’s finance industry as well as financial stressors in the community.

Launch Event - WHO Framework for Meaningful Engagement
The WHO Framework for Meaningful Engagement of People Living with NCDs and Mental Health and Neurological Conditions is a WHO technical product designed to provide practical guidance, norms, and standards to support WHO and Member States advancing, co-creating, and enhancing policies, programmes, and services through the meaningful engagement of individuals with lived experience of these health conditions.
The launch was led by individuals with lived experience who have contributed to the co-creation process to share their insights, experiences and expertise.

Disability Inclusion week - Mad-Queer-Crip-Pride Panel
A discussion held during Disability Vision Week, featuring a diverse panel of activists, academics, and artists. The focus was on the intersection of identities within the Mad Pride, Queer, and Crip movements.
